GREAT CALL ON THE IPSWICH. By Far my favorite beer out there right now. Every time I take a sip it just reminds me why I like beer so much.

Having this one on tap at my wedding!

No wheat beers? No Oktoberfests? Who the hell runs this list, a bunch of Phillies fans? I think all the IPA hops have gone to your heads! Pursuant to the USA limitations on the top 10, I submit for your consideration: Omengaang Brewery's White/Belgian-style beer, Allagash's White beer, Sam Adams Oktoberfest, even the ol'Circus Boy by Magic Hat.

I like the Ipswich representation Adrian! I can remember back to a time when that was only sold in growlers. This was my Dad's favorite beer for a number of years. He would have to drive to Essex to get it and need a buddy (usually my uncle or grandpops) to drink it with him. Almost every time he would crack open the growler he would start the "they gotta put this stuff into bottles" conversation.

Cheers Kip - Yeah, I really think that the Double Bag is the better of the Long Trails - it is overpowering, it's a double...but it's not even the highest ABV beer on the list...

Long Trail Double over traditional...interesting. I've always felt the double was a bit overpowering. If you're going strong and want a VT brew in there, I would have recommended Shed. For a beer with punch, it beats out most in the green mountains.

Otherwise, great list. Glad to see you squeezed in the Yuengling Bros into the "bonus".
